生命与环境科学学院专业简介



水产养殖学(理工类)(本科专业代码:090601)

      水产养殖学专业是我校首批转型发展与重点支持的示范专业。其整体实力在我省同类学科中处于先进地位。专业溯源为1989年湖南农学院常德分院开办的畜牧水产专科,以水产为支撑的动物学是“十一五、十二五”省重点建设优秀学科,水产学科为湖南省“双一流”建设应用特色学科。本专业立足湖南、面向全国、突出应用,以行业和地方需求为导向,以现代水产专业知识为主线,以“重基础、强实践、能创新”为特色,培养德智体美劳全面发展,能从事研发、生产经营、管理等的复合型人才。本专业拥有先进高端的仪器设备和规范的水产养殖实训基地,并与多家水产养殖企事业单位、饲料公司建立有广泛和密切的合作关系,合作成果丰硕。

     水产养殖学专业在注重向学生传授理论知识的同时,更加重视学生实践能力和创新意识的培养,创新“四三”式人才培养模式,实施范蠡人才培养计划,以适应3类人才(科研型人才、管理型人才及技能型人才)的培养需要。开设有3类专业人才培养需要的特色课程、强化训练课程和实践实习课程等。通过这些环节的培养,培养学生发现问题、分析问题和解决问题的能力,使学生具有较强的实践能力和操作技能。通过培养学生综合素质,提高学生的创新能力和就业竞争力。毕业生基础知识扎实,实践能力强,深受用人单位的青睐,毕业生一次性就业率95%以上,专业社会声誉较高,每年约有30%的毕业生考取研究生。

Aquaculture (undergraduate code:  090601)

Aquaculture is one of school's first-batch transformation majors. According to the students' interests, employment orientations and the demands for talents in the aquatic industry, the major sets three personalized training directions: scientific research type, management type and skill type. The scientific research type training direction relies on the superiority and platform of disciplines, adopts the tutorial system, cultivates elites with thick foundation, high synthetic quality, strong ability, be full of scientific and innovative spirit and creative ability, and with great potential in a certain field, the development directions are primarily universities and research institutes; Management type training direction is mainly based on talent demands for production, administration, technology promotion and other departments, adopts elective system, major-minor system, double degree system and other methods, develops inter-disciplinary talents with solid professional basic knowledge, wide-ranged knowledge, high comprehensive quality, strong adaptability, broad employment prospects, the employment directions are mainly aquatic production business segment, administrative department, and technology promotion department and so on; Skill type training direction is mainly for first-tier talent needs, according to the "Excellence plan", fosters specialized talents with solid professional foundations, high comprehensive quality, strong practical ability, the employment directions are basically enterprises or self-employments.


 生物科学(理工类)(本科专业代码:071001)

       生物科学专业是湖南省普通高等学校重点专业和特色专业,设置生物教育和生物技术二个专业方向。本专业培养具有现代生物科学基本理论、基本知识和实验(践)技能的应用复合型人才。主要学习动物学、植物学、生物化学、植物生理学、微生物学、细胞生物学、遗传学、分子生物学、基因工程、人体解剖生理学、普通生态学、发酵工程原理与技术、生物学教学法、植物组织培养等方面的基本知识、基本理论和实验(践)技能,进行从事科学研究和现代教育理论与实践的基础训练,培养学生具备较好的科学素养及一定的教学、科研能力。毕业后可在中等学校、企事业单位及科研机构等从事生物科学相关的教学、科研、技术开发及管理等方面的工作。

Bioscience (undergraduate code: 071001)

Bioscience is the Key and feature specialty of ordinary colleges and universities in Hunan province, and set up two directions in biology education and biotechnology. The aim of the major is to cultivate higher level of special application-typed, compound-typed talents, and these talents should have the basic theory, basic knowledge and experimental skills in modern biological science upon graduation. Learning courses mainly includes zoology, botany, biochemistry, vegetable physiology, microbiology, cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, genetic engineering, human anatomy and physiology, ecology, fermentation engineering principle and technology, biology didactics, plant tissue culture, etc. Meanwhile, in order to cultivate the students' ability of teaching and scientific research, the basic training of scientific research and modern educational theory and practice are carried out. After graduation, the students are competent in the teaching, scientific research, technical development and management of biological science in secondary schools, enterprises and institutions, scientific research institutions, etc.


食品科学与工程(理工类)(本科专业代码:082701)

      食品科学与工程专业是学校转型试点建设专业,专业依据行业技术岗位群和学科优势设置“水产品加工与贮藏”、“食品质量与安全”、“食品营养与健康”三个个性化培养方向。本专业以培养专业基础知识丰富、食品加工理论扎实、实践操作技能突出,并在水产品加工与贮藏、食品质量与安全或食品营养与健康领域具有一定特长,的应用型专门人才为目标。主要学习食品工程原理、食品化学、食品微生物学、食品机械与设备、食品工艺学、食品分析与检测、食品营养学、食品质量与安全管理等方面的基本知识、基本理论和实践技能。学生毕业后可以在食品生产企业、食品营养与健康相关公司、或食品安全监管行政部门从事生产管理、营养咨询、分析检测等工作,或从事食品新产品设计研发、食品营销推广、食品相关教学等工作。

Food Science and Engineering(undergraduate code: 082701

Food Science and Engineering is one of the majors in the pilot project of application-oriented transformation in our university. According to the classification of technical positions in food related industry and the disciplinary advantage in the college of life and environmental science, three cultivation directions, i.e. processing and storage of aquatic products, food quality and safety, food nutrition and health, were set in this major. Our objective is to help you become an application-oriented professional personnel with rich fundamental professional knowledge, solid theory about food processing, prominent practical operation skills, and also have a certain specialty in one of the three cultivation direction areas. The main courses of this major including food engineering, food chemistry, food microbiology, food machinery and equipment, food technology, food analysis and detection, food nutriology, and food quality and safety. Graduates of this major can perform works such as the production management, nutritional counseling, analysis and detection, et. al in food manufacturing enterprise, food nutrition and health relevant corporation, and administrative department of food safety supervision. They can also perform works about food design, food marketing, and food related teaching.


农学(理工类)(本科专业代码:090101)

       农学专业是湖南省普通高等学校特色专业,设置特种经济植物生产和农业产业化两个专业方向。本专业培养具备经济植物生产与管理、植物育种与良种繁育、观光农业、生态农业、农业产业化、植物保护等方面专业知识和技能的高级复合型人才。主要学习植物学、生物化学、植物生理学、遗传学、植物病理学、农业昆虫学、基础生态学、作物栽培与耕作学、作物育种学、种子学、生物统计学与试验设计、细胞生物学、分子生物学、植物基因工程、植物生物技术、农业标准化及产业化、农业经济管理学等方面的知识,进行植物生长发育调控、植物新品种选育和品质分析、作物病虫害防治和农产品下游技术等方面的实践训练,具备利用现代信息技术组织作物生产和现代农业经营与管理等方面的综合素质。毕业后可在现代农业管理、科研、教育、技术开发和国际农业贸易等党政企事业单位从事相关工作,或在植物生物技术等领域自主创业。

Agronomy(undergraduate code: 090101)

Agronomy, a characteristic specialty of common colleges and university in Hunan province, contain two directions that are special economic plants production and agriculture industrialization.

  This specialty aims to cultivate advanced inter-disciplinary students who are professional on economic plants production and management, plant breeding, sightseeing agriculture, ecologic agriculture, agricultural industrialization, and plant protection.

  The students will study a series of specialized courses covering botany, biochemistry, plant physiology, genetics, plant pathology, agricultural entomology, basic ecology, crop cultivation and tillage, crop breeding, seed science, biostatistics and experimental design, cell biology, molecular biology, plant gene engineering, plant biotechnology and so on. Meanwhile, it will cost them a lot of time to do the practices and trainings. And then, they could organize plant production using modern bioinformatic technology and manage the modern agriculture.

  After graduation, the student could be a staff to do agricultural management and researching jobs in companies and other organizations. Of course, they may create their own companies as well.


动物科学(理工类)(本科专业代码:090301)

      动物科学专业以动物科学为主,兼顾动物病害防治、动物营养与饲料生产技术,设置动物生产和动物营养两个专业方向。本专业培养具备动物遗传育种、动物繁殖、动物营养与饲料以及畜、禽等动物生产和病害防治方面的知识和实践技能的应用型技术人才。主要学习动物生产与管理、动物遗传育种、动物繁殖、动物营养与饲料、动物产品加工等方面的基本理论、基本知识,进行与动物科学相关的调查、分析、评估、设计等方面的基本训练,具备动物育种、繁殖、生产、加工与管理的基本能力。毕业后能在动物科学技术相关部门和企事业单位从事技术与设计、推广与开发、经营与管理、教学与科研等工作。

Animal Science (undergraduate code: 090301)

The Animal Science specialty aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the core subjects of genetics and breeding, reproduction, nutrition, cultivation, disease prevention & control of livestock and poultry. Animal Science is mainly based on animal physiology and anatomy but, includes specialist applications of disease prevention and control alongside feed production technology. Animal science students will be required to understand and apply theory knowledge in animal husbandry, understand the key concepts of genetic selection and breeding, animal nutrition biochemistry, feed production, and animal product processing and management. Students will also develop key skills of investigation, experimental design and statistical analysis, research methods and critical thinking. After graduation in animal science and technology, students will be qualified for employment in a variety of sectors including commercial technology & design, promotion & development, operations & management, and academic teaching & research.


环境科学(理工类)(本科专业代码:083001

    环境科学专业是2018年新增专业,根据就业取向以及环保行业对人才的需求设置了“环境保护与污染治理”和“环境信息与规划管理”两个方向。本专业培养具备环境科学基本理论、基本知识和基本技能、掌握相关专业知识和实验技能的环境科学类高素质应用复合型人才。主要学习环境化学、生物化学、环境生物学、环境工程原理、环境监测、环境生态学、环境土壤学、环境微生物学、环境影响评价、环境管理等环境科学学科的基本理论和基本知识。毕业后能在高等学校、及科研机构等从事环境科学领域相关的教学与研究、环境监测、环境评价与管理、环境监察以及环保产业开发等工作。

Environmental Science(undergraduate code:083001)

Environmental Sciences is a new specialty established in 2018. According to the employment orientations and the demands for talents in the environmental protection industry, the major sets two directions in environmental protection and environmental management. The aim of the major is to cultivate higher level of special application-typed, compound-typed talents, and these talents should have the basic theory, basic knowledge and experimental skills in modern environmental science upon graduation. The main courses include environmental chemistry, biochemistry, environmental biology, principles of environmental engineering, environmental monitoring, environmental ecology, environmental soil science, environmental microbiology, environmental impact assessment and environmental management, etc. After graduation, the students are competent in the teaching, scientific research, technical development and management of environmental science in enterprises and institutions, scientific research institutions, etc.
